We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Information may be shared with service providers (such as Twilio for SMS delivery) solely to operate our messaging services.

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent will not be shared with or sold to any third parties under any circumstances.

Data Retention

Message records are retained for operational and ministry purposes. You may request deletion of your information by contacting us at the address below.

Your Rights

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time (see opt-out instructions in the SMS Terms below). To request access to or deletion of your data, contact us directly.

Message Frequency & Rates

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us. For volunteer sessions, you will typically receive no more than 2 messages per scheduled session (a confirmation request and a reminder).

SMS Terms and Conditions

By texting The Garage at Living Faith or by being added to our volunteer scheduling system, you agree to receive SMS messages from us as described below.

Customer Service Messaging

When you send a text message to our customer service number, you consent to receive SMS replies related to your inquiry, vehicle appointment, or repair order. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us.

Volunteer Session Messaging

When staff adds you to a volunteer work session, you may receive:

Message frequency is low — typically 1–2 messages per scheduled session.

To opt out of volunteer SMS messages: Reply SKIP to any session confirmation message. You will be removed from that session and will not receive further messages for it.
To opt out of all customer service SMS: Reply STOP to any message from our customer service number. You will receive no further messages. Reply START to re-enroll at any time.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. The Garage at Living Faith does not charge for SMS messages.

Carriers

Supported carriers include all major US carriers. Carrier support for short code messaging is not guaranteed.
